Help spread the word:
If you know anybody who might be interested in our alternative model for education for their child/ren please help us by
spreading the word.

STOP PRESS:

Please note: Sadly, due to low enrolment numbers, we are not going ahead as a school in 2010.

We are homeschooling instead, planning to do lots of great things together - if you like the sound of what would have been our school and would be interested in joining us for some homeschooling activities, please contact us - we look forward to meeting you.

NB: The text in this website relates specifically to our school but will give you a good idea of the approach we are bringing to homeschooling.

Food & Garden

We practise healthy eating, encouraging children to grow and prepare their own food. During the 2008 school year, we began developing sustainable, organic fruit, veggie and herb gardens in the school grounds and regularly offered an optional, healthy communal lunch program with children helping to prepare meals.

Communal food is preferably organic, and as many of our founding members are vegan,
for practical reasons we have a completely vegan communal food and kitchen policy.
The premises are kept vegetarian and free of sugar and junk food.
